Adventures in the city: January 2008 Archives

Yet another perk of working for KPMG: fun team building events! Today my team and I celebrated our accomplishments by going indoor skydiving. Past events have included sailing, rock climbing, go-kart racing, fabulous dinners, and the like.

Skydiving was one of my favorites so far. After a brief instructional video we suited up and donned our safety goggles. We spent a total of 6 minutes each in the wind tunnel - less than 2 minutes at a time though. Each session seems to last a long time, as staying up requires a lot of concentration. In my case, that was the most difficult part as I could only concentrate on the hot instructor!

My conclusion: I'm ready to try the real thing!
