Life updates: December 2007 Archives

It is hard to believe that 2007 is almost over. I'm at my Dad's house in Prineville, Oregon, relaxing for a bit after a stressful few months at work. Things have been very busy but it seems to make the vacation that much sweeter.

Despite my seemingly never-ending complaints, I am happy it is snowing here. The lack of seasons is my biggest complaint about San Francisco. The weather is freezing and I don't know anyone in this town - I wouldn't have it any other way. I brought a few good books and am spending my time sleeping, reading, and just hanging out with my Dad and his wife Silke. Lindsay is coming tomorrow, and the rest of our extended family will be here soon as well. Things will soon become slightly less relaxing and considerably more interesting - I can't wait. You have to love the weirdness of family!

I'm headed to Portland for New Year's Eve, but not without stopping in Florence to meet my niece Chloe (congratulations Dave and Bethany!).
